G . F. BRYANT, JR.,CMAS; is a member of the Electronic Crime Task Force with the Miami Division of the U.S. Secret Service. He has been granted a Certified Master Anti-Terrorism Specialist (CMAS) designation by the Anti-Terrorism Certification Board (ATAB) of the International Society of Anti-Terrorism Professionals and is Chairman of its International Standing Committee for Homeland Security. Mr. Bryant is an internationally recognized Physical & Operational Security Analyst, Contingency Planner and Educator with more than twenty five years of combined experience in technical, physical & operational security, and investigation technologies. He founded Bryant & Associates to provide threat assessment, risk analysis and systems integration after serving several years as the primary technician for a governmental law enforcement agency. He teaches and consults internationally on state-of-the-art equipment, techniques, and operational procedures to managers, technicians and other security and risk management professionals in both government and private industry that include numerous Fortune 500 companies. The originator and developer of extensive technical and operational industrial security & life safety programs at the university level, Mr. Bryant is active in the design, application, installation and field maintenance of Integrated Facilities Protection Systems utilizing the Total Facilities Management approach. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences & exhibitions and his articles regularly appear in various security industry publications. Mr. Bryant has been a contributor to new product development projects for many international manufacturers.
Mr. Bryant has served as Chairperson of a Chapter of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) International. He is a member of the South East Florida Chapter of the Association of Contingency Planners (ACP) and served on Committee F-12 on Security Systems and Equipment of the American Society for Test and Material (ASTM). Mr. Bryant contributed to a monthly column on Systems Integration in Access Control & Security Systems Integration magazine and was the Technical Editor of International Corporate Security, a magazine published in the United Kingdom. He has been appointed to the technical advisory boards of Defense & Security Electronics, CCTV Applications & Technology, Access Control & Security Systems Integration, Security Technology & Design, and Southeast Asia Fire & Security magazines.

John E. Huffman Sr., CHS-V;is a member of the Faculty at the World Institute for Security Enhancement and is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BIT Consulting, an organization providing security assessments, training, and operational security for governments and corporations worldwide including critical infrastructure projects exceeding $40,000.000 in more than 20 countries. Mr. Huffman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, and is a Diplomate of the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute (ACFEI), the world's largest forensic membership association. He is Certified in Homeland Security at Level-V (CHS-V), the highest designation granted to Homeland Security professionals by the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security and is ATAB Certified as a Anti-Terrorism Specialist by the Anti-Terrorism Accreditation Board.
Mr. Huffman has prominent experience in Homeland Security which has included the State Department's Armed Security Specialist-Defensive Services Program (Middle East and Asia), working with the special operations, intelligence, and law enforcement communities while operating in medium to high risk environments. He also has extensive experience in law enforcement having served as a sworn deputy sheriff (reserve) since 1991. His duties and assignments include SWAT team operations, training, tactical operations planning, and technical support.
Mr. Huffman contributes his time and expertise to help ensure the security of our Nation through participation in Certified in Homeland Security, Preparation & Response Teams (CHS-P&R Teams). CHS-P&R Teams are geographically based multidisciplinary teams of Homeland Security professionals dedicated to improving the preparation, prevention, and response capabilities of the U. S. Department of Homeland Security, starting at the community level and expanding nationwide. He has taken a leadership role in the CHS-P&R Team based in Tennessee, and is a CHS-P&R Division Team Leader for Division I: Security, Division III: Military, and Division X: Transportation. Mr. Huffman has been involved in operations planning, management, security audits, TSCM, POSA vulnerability & threat assessments, and implementation of programs for government and Fortune 500 companies.
In addition to being a member of the Gerson Lehrman Group's Security Council, Mr. Huffman is a member of several professional associations, including the Certified in Homeland Security (CHS) program, the International Association of Counter Terrorism and Security Professionals (IACSP), the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) International, the National Drug Interdiction Association (NDIA), the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), and the International Association of Protective Agents (IAPA).
Norman R. Bottom Jr., Ph.D., CPP, CST, CPO, PPS Editor of the Journal of Security Administration
Dr. NORMAN R. BOTTOM Jr.; serves as the Director of Research & Development and Applied Research and is a member of the Board of Advisors at the World Institute for Security Enhancement. He is an internationally respected security and loss control expert and is associated with Bryant & Associates. His career began more than twenty five years ago while conducting and directing research with the Defense Intelligence Agency. Dr. Bottom designed and staffed one of the first masters programs in security at the university level, and has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in executive protection, international security management, terrorism, industrial & institutional security, crime prevention, information security, security supervision & administration, security management and security undercover investigations.
Dr. Bottom frequently instructs before international associations, conferences and expositions on a variety of security and loss prevention topics. He has authored and reviewed numerous articles and is the author of the book "Security / Loss Control Negligence" co-author of " Industrial Espionage: Intelligence Techniques and Countermeasures," and senior author of " Security and Loss Control," and authored " Parking Lot and Garage Security Handbook," Dr. Bottom is a faculty member of the Canadian Security Academy and is Editor of the Journal of Security Administration.
Dr. Bottom is an active member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, Association of Former Intelligence Officers, Communications Security Association, International Association of Professional Security Consultants, National Association of Legal Investigators and has been certified as a Personal Protection Specialist by the Nine Lives Associates.
Dr. Bottom is a past president of the Academy of Security Educators and Trainers which has certified him as a Certified Security Trainer (CST), and is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by the American Society for Industrial Security. He is also a Certified Protection Officer.

Stephen Patrick Cain, M.B.E.;is a member of the Board of Advisors at the World Institute For Security Enhancement. He is an internationally respected Security and Risk Management consultant. Formerly the Managing Director of Pacific International Limited, Mr. Cain is presently associated with Bryant & Associates. A graduate of the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst he was commissioned into the Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers and later was awarded the Member of the British Empire by Her Majesty the Queen for operational duties as Company Commander. Mr. Cain attended courses on International Affairs and politics at Oxford University, received his law degree from The British College of Law and was admitted into the Supreme Court of England & Wales.
Major Cain's specific security responsibilities have included protection of large military sites, coordination of communication and CCTV networks, overt & covert intelligence gathering, overt & covert operations against armed terrorists & criminal organizations, and briefings to Royal, Diplomatic, Military & Parliamentary VIP's. Cofounder of Asset Protection International, Mr. Cain addresses the spectrum of Corporate Asset Management within the U.S.A. and throughout the world.

Douglas W. Gould Chief Information Security Officer, World Institute Former Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories
Doug Gould, CISSP;is the Chief Information Security Officer at the World Institute for Security Enhancement, and is associated with Bryant & Associates. He is an internationally recognized expert in the field of computer security and forensics. Currently President of Gould Professional Services, Inc., he is an electrical engineer, computer scientist, computer security consultant and computer forensic examiner, with over 28 years experience in computer and security professions, including 14 years as a Member of the Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories.
He is a leader in providing security related services to Corporate Clients and Government Agencies. He has served as the principal architect for some of the world's largest e-commerce enabled businesses, and has led and managed security consulting services for a large Fortune 500 company. He has also held computer and network security responsibility for a U.S. government agency, including serving as the lead forensic investigator.
Mr. Gould served on the past Board of Directors of the Carolinas chapter of the Information Systems Security Association, and currently is the President of the Eastern Carolina InfraGard organization, one of the largest and most successful in the nation. He frequently assists law enforcement in investigations and has been called upon by the FBI and Secret Service for his expertise to assist in evidence recovery in major computer crime incidents.

Richard J. Heffernan, C.P.P.; is the President of R. J. Heffernan Associates Inc. based in Branford, Connecticut and is a member of the Board of Advisors at the World Institute for Security Enhancement. He is an internationally respected management consultant for corporations, institutions & government with over twenty five years experience. Mr. Heffernan holds the Certified Protection Professional Designation (CPP) from the American Society for Industrial Security (A.S.I.S.). He is a recognized expert in the Prevention of Business Espionage including Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) as well as specializing in risk analysis, program design, development and implementation of security solutions concerning the protection of People, Property, Information and Communications.
A member and past Chairman of the National Standing Committee on Safeguarding Proprietary Information of the American Society for Industrial Security. He is the originator and co-author of three industry surveys including the Trends in Intellectual Property Loss, Special Report (ASIS, March 1996). This work is extremely quoted in the President's 1996 Report to Congress on Economic & Industrial Espionage. He had served as a consultant on National Security Affairs to the FBI National Security Division and as a member of the Industry Council for the National Counter Intelligence Center (NACIC). The recipient of several citations and awards including the A.S.I.S President's Award, FBI Director Freeh has cited Mr. Heffernan for his continuing work with the intelligence community to improve the security awareness level of senior business executives. He has at the request of ASIS, testified before The United States House Judiciary Sub-Committee on Crime concerning the extent of economic and industrial espionage and the need for new federal legislation concerning protection of trade secrets.
Silva Kandiah Former General Manager, SATS Security Services, Singapore Airlines Asian Representative
Silva Kandiah;is a member of the Board of Advisors at the World Institute for Security Enhancement. He was General Manager of SATS Security Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. It provides aviation and general security services to the SIA Group of Companies and to aviation organizations in Singapore and overseas.
Prior to this, Mr. Kandiah held several appointments, in the Personnel Division of Singapore Airlines such as Editor of its House Magazine (Outlook) and Human Resource Manager and for two years was seconded to Air Lanka as Personnel Manager. He had continued his association with Air Lanka by being a consultant on Human Resource Development.
Mr. Kandiah was appointed by the New Zealand Ministry of Transport as the independent industry advisor in its thrice yearly audit of its Aviation Security Service.
He is on the Boards of Singapore Airlines Properties (a subsidiary of the Singapore Airlines Group), the International Association of Airport and Seaport Police, Aviation Security International Magazine and the Consultative Committee of the Department of Geography, National University of Singapore.
Mr. Kandiah is a Honours Graduate in Arts from the then University of Singapore and is a Captain in the Singapore Armed Forces Reserves.
Mario Martinez, MBA, CFE, CIFI Director of Administration, World Institute Director of Security, Southern Bell (Retired)
Mario C. Martinez, M.B.A., CFE, CIFI;is an internationally recognized consultant in fraud and telecommunication security with a Master of Business Administration in International Marketing. Mr. Martinez is the Director of Administration at the World Institute for Security Enhancement and retired as Director of Security for Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company directing all corporate security operations in the southern district of Florida. During his career he participated in a number of law enforcement task forces in Florida and Washington D.C. to enhance telecommunications technologies available for criminal investigations. During his tenure with Southern Bell he attended numerous management, technical, telecommunication, and investigative security courses. He has also developed and presented numerous programs in the areas of computer security and investigation.
Mr. Martinez has represented Southern Bell's business interests in the United States, Canada, and Spain. He was assigned to review security measures at Compania Telefonica Nacional de Espana (Telefonica) following terrorist bombing attacks directed at telephone company facilities in Madrid. He was later assigned to review telephone facilities security measures in Barcelona, Spain in connection with the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. Mr. Martinez also drafted a telecommunications multi-departmental corporate security plan for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. He has been cleared "Top Secret" by the Department of Defense and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Mr. Martinez is an active member of numerous trade associations including the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) International. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the National Society for Certified Fraud Examiners and a Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI) from the International Association of Special Investigation Units.
Phillip A. Parker, M.A. Deputy Assistant Director for Operations of Intelligence Division, FBI Retired
Phillip A. Parker, M.A.;is a member of the Board of Advisors for the World Institute for Security Enhancement. He is a former special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He retired as Deputy Assistant Director for Operations of the Intelligence Division, directing all counter intelligence and counter espionage investigations and operations in the United States. He has been the U.S. representative to the NATO Security Committee in Brussels and an F.B.I. representative to several INTERPOL conferences. In 1987 Mr. Parker was awarded the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal for exemplary accomplishments while serving as Deputy Assistant Director. He testified before and was quoted by the Stillwell Commission.
Mr. Parker presently provides investigative and security consulting through Phillip A. Parker and Associates LTD. and in association with Bryant & Associates. He possesses a Masters Degree from Indiana University and is a graduate of the National War College. Mr. Parker's security services include protection from industrial espionage, protection of classified or proprietary information, crisis management, security surveys and as an expert witness.
Mr. Parker is a member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI , the Association of Former Intelligence Officers and the American Society for Industrial Security.
Robert L. Barnard Author of Intrusion Detection Systems
ROBERT L. BARNARD.;is a member of the Board of Advisors at the World Institute for Security Enhancement. He received his B. S. degree in Physics from American University in Washington, D. C., and is associated with Bryant & Associates as part of an active career which has spanned over twenty years. He is an independent technical security consultant who in his previous government position was responsible for developing perimeter lighting systems to support visual and CCTV surveillance, perimeter barriers to deter & delay intruders, and response devices to deter intrusion for critical Department of Defense installations. He has developed standards for ultrasonic and microwave motion detectors for the National Bureau of Standards. He has conducted safeguard vulnerability analysis of an insider adversary threat to nuclear processing facilities and has conducted equipment training for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He specializes in utility and industrial security consulting and has designed intrusion detection systems for several nuclear utility plants, and liquefied natural gas LNG) facilities. In 1980 Mr. Barnard designed the security system for the Olympic Village where the athletes for the 1980 Winter Games warehoused. He is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and served as Second Vice Chairperson of Committee F-12 on Security Systems and Equipment of the American Society for Test and Material (ASTM). Mr. Barnard has authored articles on the operation and application of intrusion detection equipment and is the author of the book entitled "Intrusion Detection Systems" published by Butterworth.
